Hello, my name is Betty Martin and I teach 7th and 8th grade Math Recovery classes at Jefferies Junior High. I have degrees in both Home Economics and Mathematics from Tarleton state University. I have taught for twenty-nine years,twenty-four have been in the Comanche School District.

Math Recovery provides students with the opportunity to improve and enhance prior mathematics skills and concepts to better prepare them for higher order thinking required in future mathematics classes.

My goal is to help students increase the skills and gain knowledge to make the transition to succeed in the more rigorous coursework in high school and beyond.
