Starting in 2009 we have added Anatomy and Physiology to the Comanche HS curriculum.
We did this for two reasons:
1. The to give the students more Senior level science choices due to the state adopted 4 x 4 class requirements.
2. Comanche has a lot students that go into coaching, medical or other science based majors in college. To better prepare them for this challenge we have created this Anatomy class.
We are going to be using the Hole's Essentials of Human Anatomy and Physiology textbook. This book has very high level work in a very easy to read format. You can click on the link below to get to the syllabus for the actual topics that will be covered.

You will need the Lab Report guidelines. You can get them by clicking below or going to the download page;

I am also getting various Professionals in the field s related to Human Anatomy to come speak to the students. Some of the speakers will include professionals from: Orthopedic surgery, Ahtletic Tranning/injury prevention, and of course Medical professionals in various areas from Comanche County Medical Center.
A lot of additional resources can also be found on the Science Links and Download sites. Please visit them to browse the content.
