Whatever It Takes!
I am so proud to be starting my fourth year in Comanche at H.R. Jefferies Junior High! This year I will be teaching Resource and Self Contained Math and Reading. I am also going to be teaching a Career Investigations course. We have not offered this class at the Junior High level in a number of years, so I am excited to see what the students will find. This year I will also be the 504 Coordinator for both the Middle and Junior High School Campuses.

I have taught in the past at both Mullin and Priddy ISD.

My husband Ryan and I live close to DeLeon on his family's farm. We have two sons- Harrison, who will be 5 in November, and Hatton who will be 2 in April.

I grew up right here in Comanche and attended Comanche ISD schools K-12th grades. I attended Texas Tech University and obtained my BS in Agricultural Communications with a double minor in both Mass Communications and Human Development/Family Studies. I came back and recieved my teaching certificate through the TMATE program at Tarleton. In May, I will graduate with my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Special Education.

My classroom aide, Melissa White is AWESOME! I could not function at school with out her help! I also have wonderderful teaching partners in Cassie Gaines & Michael Kunkel.

My goal as a teacher is to help my students find their way into society as productive citizens.

I hope that parents and students feel free to call, e-mail, or stop by my classroom anytime with their comments or concerns. My door is always open. My conference is 7th period (12:54-1:39).
