Speech Exploring Communication

In this class we strive to improve our communication skills through discussion, skits, research, and real life applications. This is a class that can help students in their everyday life at school, work, and at home. People who learn to communicate well are more successful in all that they do.

English As A Second Language

This class is designed to help students aquire English when that is not the language spoken at home. Students work on language skills, a computer program that is interactive, reading, and writing to help them pass their classes and the TAKS tests.

UIL Cross Examination Debate and Lincoln Douglas Debate

UIL CX and LD debate competitions help students prepare for college. In debate students learn to research a topic, analyze, and then defend a position for and against this topic. These are skills that will help students be more successful in college and in life.
