Hello, I'm Linda Seth and I teach 2nd Grade Special Education. I am starting my 16th year at Comanche Elementary after teaching in Dallas and Cedar Hill. Comanche Elementary school has a Resource Room to serve students Kindergarten through second grade. Students must have specific disabilities to qualify for Special Education programs. Many of our students are very intelligent, however, based on testing information, it is determined that they are not reaching their potential in the regular education setting. Students spend a portion of their day in my class based on their specific needs which are written in their individual education plan. A variety of curriculum, programs, and technologies are used to meet their special needs.

Students are able to achieve at their own pace in their own learning style. They begin to experience success and are excited about learning. That makes teaching in the Resource Room challenging but rewarding.
