My name is Melanee Schwartz and I am a math teacher here at our Junior High. I have been a teacher for 20 years, 18 of which have been here in Comanche. I have taught some high school in the past but prefer the junior high age. In the past, I have taught 7th grade math, 8th grade math, high school algebra and pre-algebra, and 8th grade computer literacy. I love mathematics and teaching.
I enjoy getting to know my students and try to emphasize the importance of mathematics in their lives. I try to prepare them for high school math, TAKS test, college, and everyday dealings with math. My goal is to make a difference in the lives of as many students as I possibly can.
