Hello, my name is Stephanie Callison. I teach 3rd grade here at Comanche Elementary. This will be my second year to be employed here. I love teaching and can't imagine myself doing anything else. My favorite subjects to teach is Language and Math, although we have fun with all the subjects. My family and I have lived in Comanche for 7 years now and we love it! My husband and I have been married for 7 years and we have two children, a little girl who is 6, and a two year old little boy. They keep life very exciting at my house!
So far this year we have done a lot of fun doing thematic units on the continents. Our first six weeks we studied Asia and we did many neat activites like flying kites, eating with chopsticks, and writing our names in Chinese. Right now, we are stuyding Africa. We had fun reading about Anansi and making spider webs. We will continue studying the continents and I look forward to many more fun learning activities!
