Geography shapes History. People are the way they are because of their surroundings. Geography shapes the way people live, their cultures, their jobs, and their families. It also shapes governments, nations, and populations. Maybe you can learn something new about your area or maybe a place you want to travel. But at least you will be better prepared for future Social Studies classes.

Students who miss class and/or assignments will be held responsible for all homework, quizzes, and tests missed. Students should know what was missed by looking at the calendar. However if a student does not understand the student needs to come talk with me when they return. They may talk with me the first 5 to 8 minutes of class or during study hall the day they return. Students need to be responsible and do this in a timely manner, days after return is not being responsible.
Students will have the # of days missed to complete and turn in assignments and/or take tests and quizzes. Remember communication is key.

•Unit Packets will NOT be accepted after due date and will be counted as a 0, unless it is an excused absence and then the policy above applies.
•Homework will be accepted until the packet is due as a whole. However if you wanted it checked, reward stickers, or graded before then it needs to be turned in on the due dates listed.

I have a Zero Tolerance policy for cheaters. You are not only hurting yourself, but the community as a whole. If and when I catch you cheating and your partner will receive a 0 on the work being done. No questions or excuses. You may help one another but not give each other the answers. Do your own work! Better yourself and others!
